Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam. Located on the right bank of the Red River, Hanoi is a city of contrasts, it is a place where exotic old Asia co-exists with dynamic new Asia. Both medieval and modern buildings can be seen here. Hanoi is a cultural centre of Vietnam, there are many interesting monuments and museums.
Ho Chi Minh City which is also known as Saigon is the largest city in Vietnam. Originally Cambodian famous port became Vietnamese city in the 17th century. The city center is located on the banks of the Saigon River. In Ho Chi Minh City there are lots of tourist sights such as Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, Museum of Vietnamese History, or Ho-Chi-Minh Museum.

Hoi An is a beautiful city in the South Central Coast of Vietnam. The Old Town of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hoi An which is also known as Faifo in Europe used to be very important international port in the 16th and 17th centuries. The Old Town is very well preserved. Hoi An is famous for its silk shops, wooden houses and family chapels.
